Bear (voiced by Matt Peccini) is a bear.

Background

Bear is a recurring pantomime character who appears randomly throughout each episode, often at the end joining in with the laughter of the rest of the cast. Bear's actual role at the law firm is unclear, commonly believed to be a lawyer/bartender, and his presence among the employees seems to often go unnoticed or unmentioned by the others. He is often seen randomly assisting the others in various bizarre tasks. He sometimes comments by smiling and releasing a cute and inquisitive-sounding "Awr?" While other times when it appears Bear is about to speak the camera switches away to another character and cuts out.

He enjoys fish and walking on his hind legs. He once stole furniture from Phil Ken Sebben's office, but it is unclear whether or not the items stolen were actually just a hallucination on Phil's part.

Trivia

• It should be noted that Ursus Americanus (his family name) does not have a corner office.
• The bear was designed by Vincent Waller, an animator and story-board artist who worked on The Ren and Stimpy Show and other John Kricfalusi projects, as well as SpongeBob SquarePants and Duckman.
• Bear is "the most zen creature on Earth." First appearance: "Very Personal Injury."
